Discipline is the basic set of tools required to solve life’s problems. It is otherwise synonymous with skill. Without discipline we can solve nothing. With some discipline we can solve some problems. With total discipline we can solve all problems. Such an understanding comes to man by His Grace. The Khalsa Discipline requires us to attune our will with His Will, as taught by Guru Nanak Dev Ji in the first stanza of Japji Sahib.

If we understand this basic thing we can learn much from the life of the  Sikh Gurus, especially from the life of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. One is amazed to find how the Great Guru in extreme adverse situations remained calm and cheerful and resolved all the problems.
